Explosion in east Ukrainian mine kills at least ten


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) At least ten workers were killed and 16 injured on Wednesday in a methane gas explosion at a coal mine in rebel-held eastern Ukraine, local authorities said.
According to dpa, another 23 miners were missing after the blast in the Zasyadko Mine in the city of Donetsk, the regional administration said. It added that 230 workers were inside when the explosion occurred at 5:30 am (0230 GMT).
The pro-Kiev administration had earlier said that one miner was killed and 32 were missing. Rescue workers later discovered nine bodies of missing miners.
