(MENAFN- QNA) Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met here today with Canadian Foreign Minister Rob Nicholson.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with ways of strengthening relations between the two countries as well as the political and security situation in Iraq and the region and meet Daash organization
Abadi stressed during the meeting the importance of international community's support for Iraq in its war against Daash which poses a threat to the region and the world.
For his part, the Canadian foreign minister stressed his government's support for Iraq in its war against "terrorist organizations".
