Saudi- Prince Turki highlights JEFs success
(MENAFN- Arab News) Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Nasser director of international relations at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has highlighted the success of the Feb. 25-26 Jazan Economic Forum.
'The JEF has achieved its set objectives and was instrumental in promoting Jazan as an attractive investment hub in the Kingdom' he said while commending Saudi Aramco for the excellent organization of the event.
He said the forum discussed a number of important topics and research papers that emphasized the region's investment potential.
'Jazan Gov. Prince Mohammed has called upon Saudi businessmen and businesswomen to make use of the region's opportunities' he added.
Abdul Rahman Al-Zamil president of the Council of Saudi Chambers also stressed the significance of JEF in the backdrop of Jazan's speedy development over the past few years offering attractive investment opportunities.
Al-Zamil said Saudi businessmen and businesswomen should meet in the Kingdom's various cities and regions to explore investment opportunities and establish huge projects in association with foreign partners.
'Jazan is expected to achieve tremendous progress following the establishment of Jazan Economic City and Jazan Refinery' he said.
Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Olyan an industrialist in the Eastern Province also spoke highly about the Jazan forum adding that the tapping new investment opportunities in the region with government support would bring about qualitative development in the region.
'The growing development activities in Jazan such as the economic city and refinery would help attract more domestic and foreign investment to the region' Al-Olyan said while praising the forum's success.
