Airbus Group net profit up 59 percent in 2014
(MENAFN) Airbus Group said it posted a net profit increase of 59 percent last year, driven by record deliveries of passenger jets, while it expects revenue and operating profits to surge further, Arab News reported.
The company registered a net profit of USD2.6 billion, which would have been even better if it had not been for a provision of USD616.6 million for delayed to its A400M military transport plane.
"We achieved a significant improvement in profitability and cash generation in 2014 thanks to a record order book and strong operational performance in most areas," CEO said in a statement.
