MedNet Saudi Arabia celebrates 20th anniversary
(MENAFN- Arab News) MedNet Saudi Arabia organized a reception to celebrate its 20th anniversary in Jeddah on Tuesday.
Afsar Ehtesham GM welcomed the guests and described the event as an important milestone in the MedNet's history.
He gave an overview of the MedNet and said: 'We started as a modest third party administrator (TPA) by a group of visionaries and have today become one of the major TPAs in the MENA region.' He introduced the MedNet team members to the audience.
Dr. Stefan Reiter head of MedNet expressed his gratitude and said: 'It is a great honor to be standing here in front of you this evening but I clearly have to say that normally I should not be in the spotlight right now. Reason is that we are today celebrating the 20th anniversary of MedNet Saudi Arabia and I am myself with the MedNet group only for the past three years.'
He added: 'Instead this day of celebration goes to all of you sitting here in this room our clients and our MedNet employees as you are the platform and the pillars of this great success.'
Today the MedNet group of companies is offering on the ground TPA services in 11 countries in and outside the Middle East. It services more than 60 insurance companies and clients and cares for the medical needs of more than one million members he added.
He presented awards and souvenirs from MedNet to the guests senior employees and participants.
