(MENAFN- QNA) At least Taliban insurgents have been killed and 12 others were arrested during the military operations in different areas of Afghanistan, a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior on Saturday states.
According to the statement, operations were jointly conducted by Afghan national police, Afghan national army and Afghan intelligence- national directorate of security (NDS).
The statement further adds that one insurgent was also wounded during confrontation with Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF). Taliban have not commented on the report at this time.
