Kurdish Leader Calls for Ending Fight with Turkey

(MENAFN- QNA) Jailed leader of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Turkey called Saturday on the party to disarm after more than 30 years of conflict with the Turkish state.

Abdullah Ocalan, who was imprisoned in 1999, has been in peace talks with the Turkish government for a number of years in an effort to resolve the conflict.
