Leader in Package Delivery Proposes Solution To Assist Soldiers That Have Come Home
New York NY – Feb 26 2015 – UPS is the world's largest package delivery company and a leader in specialized transportation and logistics services. Their headquarters are in Atlanta GA and is a marquee brand everyone loves. They are among the most profitable franchise and favored by aspiring entrepreneurs. The company is taking the initiative to give back to those who served this country by opening a UPS franchise in New York City which will be owned by veterans. To make this possible Jose R Miranda Ramos have launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise $66000 by March 25th 2015.

Approximately 2.8 million civilians have served for the United States military since 9/11. Many come back to America lacking skills and support to adapt into normal society. Mr. Miranda Ramos with UPS has proposed a solution to this growing concern by giving these soldiers an opportunity to live the American dream. The prominent packaging company will hire veterans to run and administer the new franchise locations in New York City. It will give them the chance to grow and develop new skills. Owners of the stores will receive area support from managers who work closely with them to help them expand and market their business.

“There are multiple opportunities in our business” said Chris Adkins the Vice President of Sales at UPS. “It comes with 106 year old brand. One of the most recognizable brand in the world. Tremendous amount of opportunity for a franchise owner to come in our business and own one store of it their long-term goal is to own many stores they have that opportunity with us.”

The project will also extend award winning training and development at the UPS University to all veteran franchise owners. This curriculum received recognition from the American Society for Training and Development and was honored the PEAK Award. The course teaches real-word experiences with a strategic marketing plan owners can utilize to help them flourish. This will be beneficial to veterans who want to learn skill sets they can use forever in their lives.

UPS needs help from the community to make this project possible. Those who want to be part of this change by giving loyal veterans the tools for success in society please make a contribution at the IndieGoGo campaign by clicking here. Backers can choose from variety of attractive rewards as a thank you for the support.

For those who cannot give but still want to assist they can share this on Facebook and Twitter. This is an “all-or-nothing” deal. If UPS does not receive enough funding the campaign will not move forward.
