UK business investments drop in 2014

(MENAFN) UK business investment has fallen for two successive quarters, marking the biggest fall since 2009, BBC reported.

Spending in business investments decreased by 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014, compared to the corresponding period of 2013.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), decreasing oil prices might have been the cause for the economical drop in the UK.

Oil companies have retreated from making investments in the UK, after the fall down of oil prices since June last year.
