German Allianz posts USD7.03b net profit in 2014


(MENAFN) Allianz, Europe's biggest insurer, recorded a net profit of USD7.03 billion in 2014, marking a 3.8 percent increase, the Peninsula Qatar reported.

According to the German company, the increase from the USD6.81 billion logged in 2013 is attributed to solid performance in the damage and health insurance divisions.

Allianz forecasts that its operating earnings in 2015 are set to amount between USD11.35 billion to USD12.25 billion, in accordance with 2014 earnings of USD11.8 billion.
