UAE's Etisalat logs USD572m net profit in Q4


(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Etisalat logged a net profit of USD572 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, marking a 45 percent increase year-on-year, Gulf Business reported.

The net profit of the fourth quarter in 2014 stands against the drastically lower profit of USD394.69 million in the corresponding quarter of 2013.

The former telecommunications monopoly, which operates in 19 countries across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, made an annual net profit of USD2.42 billion, up from USD1.93 billion in 2013.
