(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Q-Auto, the Audi dealer in Qatar organised a 'quattro tour' road show at Ezdan Mall. The show gave participants the opportunity to experience Audi's world-renowned quattro technology, through a series of specially designed test drive exercises. The exhibit brought together more than 231 car enthusiasts from across the country, resulting in the most successful 'Land of quattro' event in the region.
The road show invited guests to explore Audi's legendary quattro technology through a series of practical on road and off road driving sessions, specially designed on a purpose built course. Participants were given the opportunity to experience the technique first hand through a range of models at the exhibit, including the Audi Q5, Q3, A5 and A3. Audi professional drive instructors introduced the demonstration with an insight into Audi's advanced quattro technology followed by safety training for all participants.
The course involved structures and obstacles designed to give participants a full off-road handling experience of the quattro all-wheel drive system and to demonstrate some of the technical features on the Audi Q Models such as hill descent control. Using a 'brake and avoid' exercise, participants also tested the difference between front wheel drive and quattro cars, as well as the safety systems fitted to the vehicle, such as the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and stability control.
