(MENAFN) The UAE appears to be one of the world's leading international yacht manufacturing hubs as the country's more than USD60 billion maritime industry expands through increasing interest by international developers as well as more investment by local manufacturers, Khaleej Times reported.
This was disclosed a news conference, which was held to announce the 23 edition of Dubai International Boat Show, which will showcase yachts worth USD272.2 million during five-day event.
Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre, or DWTC, the boat show at Dubai International Marine Club " Mina Seyahi is available to trade visitors and the general public from 3pm to 9:30pm daily from March 3 to 7.
The UAE currently ranks ninth in the world for super yacht manufacturing, with 15 projects under development, according to the 2015 Show Boat International Global Order Book. Local and international manufacturers are set to announce a slew projects for the UAE at the 23rd Dubai International Boat Show.
