Tunisian projects to get USD226.57m finance from European Bank


(MENAFN) The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide Tunisia an amount of USD203.91 to USD226.57 million to finance 14 projects, particularly in the sectors of energy, services and industry, QNA reported.

BAS National Program Manager at EBRD said that the Bank will soon launch a program to keep up with the Tunisian small and medium-sized enterprises from 2015 to 2020.

The program, which will be done in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and the European mission in Tunisia, will allocate credits worth USD11.32 million to benefit 475 enterprise specializing in the transport, traditional industries and tourism.

The EBRD his financed 20 projects in Tunisia with a total investment of USD237.90 million since 2012.
