Egypt's Mintra, Kenya to invest USD100m in paper factories


(MENAFN) Mintra, Egypt's Misr for Industry and Trade, is set to enter into partnership with a number of Kenyan firms to build new paper factories in Kenya, Amwal Alghad reported.

The new planned factories in Kenya will be established with total investments estimated approximately at USD100 million, according to Mintra's general manager.

The general manager said that the factories will be specialized in paper production, packing and wrapping. Mintra is set to build 100 new factories through the partnership.

AFREXIM Bank, the African Export Import Bank, announced its eagerness to finance the Egyptian export companies to African markets with USD500 million.
