Iran's inflation rate down to 15.2 percent in 11M


(MENAFN) Iranian Management and Planning Organization Director said that the inflation for the eleven months ended February 19 has declined to 15.2 percent from 15.8 percent a month ago, Tehran Times reported.

The Director said the point-on-point inflation rate at 14.4 percent. Last year, the Finance and Economic Affairs Minister said the government will apply anti-recession program to achieve a single-digit growth.

The administration has prepared a comprehensive plan to combat high inflation and bring the national economy out of recession, the IRNA news agency quoted the minister as saying.
