UK's Dune eyes Saudi Arabia for expansion in 2015

(MENAFN) UK's Shoe retailer Dune is set to open three new stores in Saudi within the next year, as part of the retailer's continued expansion in the Middle East, Arabian Business reported.

The director of Dune identified three locations for the new stores in Riyadh and Jeddah after considerable global growth in the retail sector in the Kingdom.

Changes marked a significant contribution, in which global accessories sales for Dune increased by 30 percent in the past 18 months, an increase coupled with a push from menswear to account for 25 percent of the business, according to the firm's director.

Dune, as a part of Apparel Group, has 25 stores in the region, with 12 in the UAE, 6 in Saudi, 3 in Kuwait, 2 Bahrain, and another 2 in Qatar. The firm hopes to open more stores in the UAE in the next five years.
