(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Minister of Justice and Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Yaacoub Abdulmohsen Al-Sanea is leading the Kuwaiti delegation to the Global Law Summit that kicked off in London on Monday.

Legal arrangements to fight terrorism and money laundering will top the agenda of the event together with how law can undermine challenges facing economic development worldwide. Several commercial and social topics will be addressed.

The summit brings together a mix of practitioners, business leaders, public sector decision makers and government officials from around the world to discuss, debate, and develop relationships across markets and jurisdictions.

Talking to KUNA on the sidelines of the event, Minister Al-Sanea stressed the importance of taking part in such specialized conferences, referring to the constructive views put forward in today's sessions and workshops, which can be useful for countering terrorism and money laundering and enhancing personal freedoms.

Al-Sanea noted that he will discuss with the British Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor Chris Grayling on Wednesday legal cooperation between the two countries. He will also hold talks with Arab and Gulf counterparts on issues of common interest.
