Mogadishu Suicide Bomber had Dutch Citizenship

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Twin bombings that killed about 30 people in the Somali capital last week were carried out by a female suicide bomber with Dutch and Somali citizenship, dpa quoted a security official as saying on Monday.
The mother of six had lived in the Netherlands, but it was not known for how long, said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
She had served as a receptionist for four months at the hotel where on Friday she activated a car bomb with a remote control and then blew herself up.
The hotel manager and 10 security guards were being questioned by police, the source said.
The bomb went off as politicians and officials were preparing to perform Friday prayers at a mosque inside the hotel.
Two lawmakers and Mogadishu's deputy mayor were killed in the attacks. Three cabinet ministers were injured.
