Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Holds Meeting with Palestinian President


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a meeting at his palace here today with Palestine's President Mahmoud Abbas.
During the meeting, they reviewed the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stressed the firm stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital, and to achieve just and lasting peace for them. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques urged the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and ensure the protection of the Palestinian people from the repeated Israeli attacks.
For his part, President Abbas expressed appreciation of the stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that support his country and the Palestinian people.
The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier; Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; and members of the delegation accompanying President Abbas.
