The rising cost of materials and textbooks for college classes presents a real problem for students. These items are usually not covered by financial aid grants or scholarships. Students may have trouble finding the right edition copy or version they need. While students are sometimes able to sell back their textbooks they may be unable to do so if the books have become outdated or a new edition is available.
The GoFundMe project will fund a website-based business where college students can find deep discounts on the materials and textbooks they need for their courses.
