More Egyptians to return from Libya via Tunisia

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A new group of Egyptian expatriates fleeing violence in Libya are poised to be transported home soon, Tunisian authorities said on Sunday.

Many Egyptians have arrived at the Tunisian border crossing of Ras Ajdir from Libya responding to a call from home to leave the war-torn country, according to the Tunisian News Agency. They have been taken by bus to Tunisia's Djerba Airport.

Another 350 Egyptians are expected to follow, the agency quoted a source as saying.

All Egyptians arriving from Libya will be evacuated through an airlift between Tunisia and Egypt, which was launched on Friday with 192 people, the source added.
