Nestle Group's organic growth hits 4.5 percent in 2014


(MENAFN) Nestle Group said it posted an organic growth of 4.5 percent last year, up from 2.3 percent real internal growth and 2.2 percent pricing, Saudi Gazette reported.

The Swiss group said its sales stood at USD97.47 billion, dropping by 0.6 percent on the back of negative foreign exchange of -5.5 percent, while acquisitions added 0.4 percent to sales.

The Nestle Group's trading operating profit was USD14.89 billion, accounting for an increase of 15.3 percent. Meanwhile, operating cash flow remained strong at USD15.64 billion.

The Nestl" Group's organic growth was broad-based, 5.4 percent in the Americas, 1.9 percent in Europe and 5.7 percent in Asia, Oceania and Africa, the Switzerland-based group said.
