Gulf investments in UK property reach USD3b in 2014


(MENAFN) Gulf States investments in UK property amounted to USD3 billion in 2014, according to novel statistics, Arabian Business reported.

Gulf States contributed in 10 percent of the total USD26 billion of direct capital flows in the UK real estate market in 2014, research showed.

Qatar made the most prolific contribution with 50 percent and with direct investments of about USD1.3 billion through transactions.

The second largest contribution was made by Abu Dhabi, participating in around USD1 billion in UK real estate market.

Saudi Arabia contributed in less than 10 percent of the overall contribution. Kuwait, meanwhile, contributed in about 5 percent, according to research.
