"The Awakening Project" Needs Help Producing the First Installment To Begin The Captivating Series
Glendale CA – Feb 19 2015 – Writer and Director Alexander Rodriguez has announced the first series of “The Awakening Project” has been written. The project is a conspiracy theory web series that features four short films which will be put together to make one incredible feature length film. The compelling story and plot surrounds the mystery and conspiracy theories of UFO sightings and covert government projects. This is a perfect mix between real life mysteries and fantasy. However filming and production can get costly. That is why Alex has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise enough funding to produce the first short film The Fallen.
The series adds an imaginative twist to already bizarre mysteries of the past such as the Roswell UFO crash site Area 51 German Nazi device “Die Glocke” and much more. This unique story begins with the main character Cassandra. She recently had a UFO encounter and is in search to find out more of what happened. Cassandra joins an “Anonymous Alien Abductees” and finds another person Richard Reyes who experienced the same thing. Together they embark on an epic journey to find out the truth. Audiences will experience this exciting adventure that is full of emotions betrayal and mystery as the investigation uncovers complex strings of cover-ups within history. This is a unique story with a captivating unknown environment where anything can happen.
“I have always had a great passion for science and mystery” said Alexander Rodriguez who is the writer and director of the screenplay. “As a kid I would devour scientific books science-fiction novels and TV series such as ‘The X-Files'.”
Rodriguez is a Physics graduate from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. He has been part of the development of this project since the very beginning. Alexander has experience in editing graphic design and visual effects which is a talent he will use to make the show amazing. His work has been featured at a many film festivals like The Cannes Film Festival (Short-Firm Corner) and The Warner Brothers Studio.
The plans are to create a high-quality film with an intriguing plot for audiences around the world to enjoy. Although they have a low production budget they are confident they can compete with high-production value shows. Scenes will be shot in LA. “The Awakening Project” plans to make the first film The Fallen available to watch on video web platforms like Amazon Prime Hulu and Netflix to generate revenue. This will establish a strong following and prove that audiences want to see more of the series. Once this has been done they can move forward to produce the other series. Developers also plan to showcase the film at different film festivals around the globe to gain more exposure.
The project goal is to raise $10000. This will go towards finishing the production of the first installment in the series which is a conservative price and many are doing work well below their pay to make a new series for many to enjoy.
