Kelly Airharts The Kind Knight Launches Kickstarter Funding Campaign

Kelly Airhart’s children's book The Kind Knight has launched a campaign to raise funds for publication and distribution and is one of this month’s Kickstarter Staff Picks. This book teaches children to the importance of patience consideration and choosing to do the right thing even when it is not easy.


The Kind Knight is a children’s book by Kelly Airhart that helps children learn the value of being kind to others.  The book’s tagline is:  “Meet the Kind Knight. He is brave. He is nice. And even when it’s not easy he always does what is right!”  The story explores the journey of the Kind Knight and his friends to stop the tears of a disappointed dragon teaching the importance of patience and consideration as well as kindness in dealing with others.  Now The Kind Knight has been chosen as a Kickstarter Staff Pick for the month of February.

Kelly Airhart is a mother and blogger who recently traveled through 20 states in America in a heart-shaped journey to perform 1500 acts of kindness. She has been involved in projects that include donating school supplies to children collecting and distributing essentials to families in need picking up litter and sending Christmas cards to soldiers.

Those who donate $25 or more will receive a signed copy of The Kind Knight and those who pledge $50 or more can also request that a copy of the book go to a favorite classroom library or group.  Shipment is expected by summer of 2015.
