Saudi Arabia, US discuss defense cooperation


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defense, Chief of Royal Diwan, and Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud met with visiting Commander of US Central Command General Lloyd J. Austin and his accompanied delegation, official media reported Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the defense field, and discussed issues of mutual interest, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Earlier, Austin met with Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime, and Interior Minister Prince Mohammad Bin Nayef Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
