China's economic growth to slow in 2015

(MENAFN) The Chinese central bank's research bureau said that the country's economic growth could slow to between 6.9 percent and 7.1 percent in 2015 as the country fends off deflation risks, Gulf Times reported.

China's economic growth rate may remain stable at a relatively lower level in 2015, between 6.9 percent and 7.1 percent, restricted by sluggish demand, the head of the bank's research bureau said.

"It is unlikely that we will see a systemic liquidity crisis, although there may be a short-term liquidity squeeze. The biggest medium-term uncertainty for the economy is deflation risk," he said.
