(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday at Bayan Palace a delegation from the Arab Scout Organization (ASO) who are currently visiting Kuwait to partake in the organization's 21st session.
The delegation included the ASO Chairman and Kuwaiti MP Dr. Abdullah Al Traygi and ASO board members Jawad Hamdan from Morocco and Qassem bin Hani from Jordan.
During the meeting, His Highness the Amir underlined the importance of the ASO in harnessing Arab youth skills and engaging them in serious and constructive activities.
He urged ASO members to do all in power to protect this important category in the Arab societies from becoming an easy prey to extremist groups and ideologies.
For their part, the delegation members briefed His Highness the Amir on the ASO activities and the outcome of the 21st session.
They lauded His Highness the Amir's unlimited support to Arab join action.
They also congratulated Kuwaiti leadership and people on the national days' celebrations.
