Oman to host symposium for the blind next week

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Al Noor Association for the Blind will be organising a symposium for the visually impaired from February 22 to 26 under the theme 'Visually Impaired: Exploring their Ways in Muscat'.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Ministry of Education's auditorium in Wattayah under the patronage of H H Sayyid Mohammed bin Thuwaini bin Shihab al Said.

The forum's programme includes scientific cultural and entertainment events that will showcase the talents of visually impaired persons from Oman and other Arab countries. The money generated from the event will be used to complete the Al Noor Association for the Blind's facility in Muscat.
