Royal Court chief meets with German delegation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Fayez Tarawneh, on Tuesday, received a German parliamentary delegation currently on a visit to the Kingdom.

The meeting tackled developments in the Middle East, especially efforts to fight terrorism and extremism, which now threaten the countries in the region and the world.

Tarawneh said Jordan is working within the international coalition to combat terrorist gangs and extremist ideology, which have nothing to do with Islam.

He stressed need for concerted regional and international efforts with a clear strategy to confront this threat. The meeting also discussed efforts to achieve peace in the region.

Members of the delegation hailed Jordan's efforts to achieve peace and find solutions to the challenges and problems facing the Middle East.
