China's home prices down 0.4 percent in January

(MENAFN) In China's 70 major cities, the average prices of new homes went down by 0.4 percent in January compared to December, Iran Daily reported.

The decrease marked the ninth consecutive decline in home prices. The cities of Beijing and Shanghai also witnessed a similar decrease in January than in December.

China's real estate market has been struggling from a slacking economy and supply excess problems. Hence, avoiding the market and investing in stocks seemed like resourceful solution for investors to attend to.
