UAE Etihad Airways leases USD100m assets from Sanad


(MENAFN) Etihad Airways hired USD100 million of extra engine and component assets from Sanad Aero Solutions, Gulf News reported.

General Electric GEnx, Engine Alliance GP7200 engines, and spare landing gear and nacelles are included among the assets.

Today, Etihad leases assets worth more than USD450 million from Mubadala Development Company subsidiary, Sanad Aero Solutions. Switzerland-based Sanad has over USD900 million worth of assets in its portfolio.

"Our relationship with the airline continues to drive our shared mandate in creating a global aerospace hub here in Abu Dhabi and we look forward to further collaboration," Sanad chief executive said.
