Kuwait's former health minister named as goodwill ambassador


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Former minister of health Dr. Mohammad Al-Haifi has expressed his pride as he was named by SPMUDA International Organization for Peace and Development as an ambassador of goodwill due to his contributions to humanitarian action and medical domain.

"This choice is an honoring to Kuwait and me as well," he told KUNA on Monday, noting that he looks forward to doing his best to achieve further contributions to humanitarian and medical fields.

He added that choosing him as a goodwill ambassador goes in harmony with the Kuwaiti effort exerted in humanitarian action to help needy people, especially after His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was named by UN as a "Humanitarian Leader".

The SPMUDA International Organization for Peace and Development is registered with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
