Cuba Sentences two to Life Imprisonment in Trafficking Scheme


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Cuba's official newspaper Granma said today that two men have been sentenced to life imprisonment in a migrant trafficking scheme that left four people dead.
The daily reported that another five people have received prison sentences ranging from eight to 25 years in the unsuccessful plan. Granma said the trial was held in recent days in a provincial court in Artemisa, about 60 kilometers (37 miles) west of the capital.
