10 Companies Set Eyes On Soroja Highway Project

BANDUNG February 16 2015—Bandung Regencial Government is optimistic Soroja highway project will be completed at the end of this year. The reason is because the 10.57 km highway with an investment of IDR1.7 trillion is now reaching the auction phase and many major companies are interested in the project.

At least 10 major companies are eyeing on the highway project namely Jasa Sarana Konstruksi PT Jasa Marga Waskita PT PP Bangun Cipta Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Posco China Road Takenaka and Js Engineering & Construction Co.  

Bandung Regent Dadang M Naser said the acquisition of land for Soroja highway has reached 83%. Regarding the payment he expects villagers’ land can be prioritized instead of the land owned by the local government.

“The land acquisition takes time since it is constrained by land documents that require verification from the National Land Agency” he told Indonesia Business Daily Sunday (2/15/2015).

There is no difference regarding the amount of the price offered to the villagers by the land acquisition committee. He also expects all parties to put forward the basis of consultation in order to settle issues constraining the project

Head of West Java Development Planning Agency Denny Juanda said the auction process of the 15-km highway connecting Bandung Regency to Bandung City has been received by the Directorate General of Highways at the Ministry of Public Works and People’s Housing. Read more...
