Arab League condemns Daesh killing of Egyptian citizens in Libya


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Arab League Secretary-General, Nabil Al-Araby, has condemned the horrific and barbaric crime perpetrated by the terrorist organisation, Daesh, against 21 innocent Egyptians in Libya.

In a statement, Mr. Al-Araby called on the international community to take effective measures against this terrorist organisation and its ugly crimes that have been committed against Muslims, Christians and the whole human race.

Al-Araby also called for activating the joint Arab defence treaty to safeguard common Arab security and confront terrorism. He extended his sincere condolences to the Egyptian, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Pope Tawadros the second, the victims' families, and the Egyptian government and people.
