King meets with group of pioneering youths


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Sunday, said the Kingdom pins high hopes on pioneering youths to contribute towards building and ensuring the development of the nation in various fields. During a meeting with a group of youths who represent success stories in various walks of life, the King said Jordan, despite its limited natural resources, is rich in its qualified and creative human capital. During the meeting attended by Her Majesty Queen Rania al-Abdullah, the King stressed the importance of fostering the sense of responsibility towards the society and the country, asserting that citizenship is about giving to the homeland rather than taking.

King Abdullah said successful young men and women are a role model for good and effective citizenship, adding that enterprising youths can help themselves and the others.

His Majesty said various state bodies, including the Hashemite Royal Court, are ready to offer whatever is necessary to help the young generation, especially in underprivileged areas. Her Majesty Queen Rania Abdullah hailed the young men's and women's spirit of leadership and entrepreneurship and said it proved their ability to usher in a positive change in the society.
