Bani Rsheid sentenced to 1.5 years in jail


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The State Security Court on Sunday sentenced deputy head of the Muslim Brotherhood, Zaki Bani Rsheid, to one and a half years in prison on charges of harming Jordan's ties with a friendly state.

Bani Rshied was accused of publishing an article on social media criticising the United Arab Emirates. He was arrested an remanded in custody on November 20, 2014.
