(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) reiterated this evening its unabated determination to stand steadfast against extremism and terrorism in all their forms.
A final communique following OIC's extraordinary meeting to discuss the accelerating spread of the pandemic, saod OIC categorically rejects any attempt to link terrorism with any country, ethnic group or religion or culture or nationality and condemned the continuing violations of human rights of the Palestinian people as well as the State terrorism practiced by Israel against the people of Gaza strip and other occupied territories.
The statement also condemned the brutal crimes committed by ISIS on the territories of Iraq and against its people, citing the combustion of a Jordanian prisoner-of-war pilot, noting that the measure goes contrary to Islamic instructions as well as world norms and regulations.
OIC denounced the terror acts in Afghanistan and a series of terrorist acts orchestrating the region from terrorists acts in Tripoli, Libya and Egyptian cities, and Boko Haram's practices and ISIS and al-Qaeda.
