550 Trucks Enter Gaza Strip


(MENAFN- QNA) Israeli occupation partially opened today the Karam Abu Salem crossing to allow the entry of food aid and fuel.
Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods in the Gaza Strip Raed Fattouh said that 550 truckloads with goods for the commercial, agricultural, transportation and aids sectors will be entered to the Strip including 190 truckloads with construction materials for Relief Agency projects and 150 truckloads with gravel for infrastructure.
Quantities of diesel will be pumped, Fattouh added.
The Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing operating in Gaza for the entry of goods and fuel and the occupation authorities close it on Friday and Saturday of each week.
