Kuwaiti FM arrives in Riyadh to attend GCC extraordinary meeting


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah arrived Saturday in Riyadh to head the Kuwaiti delegation attending the extraordinary meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled was received upon arrival by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah, GCC Secretary-General Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Kuwait ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and a number of the Kuwaiti embassy officials.

The Kuwaiti delegation to the meeting includes Director of the office of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, the Director of the GCC Affairs Department, Ambassador Nasser Hajji Al-Muzain, Kuwait's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and a number of other foreign ministry officials.

The GCC meeting is scheduled to discuss regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Yemen, and the GCC joint action.
