Cold weather, frost formation expected tonight


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy on Saturday with a chance for scattered showers accompanied by thunder in the northern and central regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Frost formation and freezing are expected after midnight in all parts of the Kingdom including in the northern Jordan Valley, while winds will be northeasterly light .

On Sunday, unstable weather conditions will affect the country; Therefore, it will be cloudy with scattered showers accompanied by thunder and hail at times in most parts of the Kingdom. Snow is also possible at night in the southern hilly areas, while winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk.

As for Monday, there will be a slight drop in temperatures and the weather will remain cold and partly cloudy with rainfall accompanied by thunder in the northern regions.

Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 11 degrees Celsius and a low of 3 at night.
