Saudi- Haia chief urges staff to uphold Islamic values
(MENAFN- Arab News) Abdulrahman Al-Sanad head of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia) has urged his staff in Riyadh to perform their duties in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah (Prophet's tradition).
The head of the commission gave his guidelines during a visit to the Haia headquarters here this week.
He said they all have to safeguard the interest of Islam by warding off evil and allowing the society to benefit from Islamic values based on the guidelines of authentic scholars.
Underlining the teachings of the Holy Qura'n and the Sunnah Al-Sanad quoted Almighty Allah (SWT) when he said: 'We have sent you forth but as a mercy to the worlds.'
Meanwhile Al-Sanad will be willing to receive suggestions and complaints from Haia's employees and other segments of the society through his own special e-mail address: [email protected]

The Haia chief said he intended through this mail to enhance communications with all segments of the society and listen to their views using technology for speedy communication in both directions.
During his visit Turki Al-Shalil Haia branch head briefed the meeting on various programs including those that have been completed or are under progress.
Shalil said the high-level visit underlines significant support to employees at the highest level that indicates his keenness for the Riyadh branch to monitor work in progress closely.
It also serves as a valuable source of guidance that will have a significant impact on improving their performance.
