Ukraine to receive USD17.5b out of USD40b funding from IMF


(MENAFN) Ukraine is going to receive around USD40 billion over the coming 4 years in funding that includes International Monetary Fund's Extended Fund of USD17.5 billion, the IMF showed, QNA reported.

The IMF team working in Kiev had signed an agreement with the Ukraine Government on a new economic program with USD17.5 billion coming from the IMF and additional resources from the international community, the IMF chief showed.

She added that from these various sources taken together, a total financing package of around USD40 billion is estimated over the four year period.
