(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The Kingdom will remain under the effect of the cold air mass on Thursday ;Therefore, the weather is expected to be cold with a chance for rainfall at times in the central and northern regions today and tomorrow.
Snow showers are also expected in the morning hours on the northern and central mountainous areas, and it may extend at night to the southern heights.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, frost formation may occur on Friday night in most parts of the country as well as the northern Jordan valley, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk.
On Saturday, it will be cold and partly cloudy with a chance of light scattered showers in the far northern areas.
Frost formation is expected at night in most parts of the country including the northern Jordan Valley,while winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly moderate.
Maximum temperatures in Amman for today are expected to reach a high of 8 degrees Celsius dropping down to 2 degrees at night.
