Austin to Managing Partner Sullivan and Troy on XMT
Woburn MA February 11 2015 ─ CPA and business advisory firm DiCicco Gulman & Company LLP (DGC) announced today the expansion of the firm’s executive management team (XMT) whose primary mission beyond their existing client responsibilities is to lead the long-term strategic direction of the firm. Laurie J. Austin CPA has been named Managing Partner. In addition Donald J. Troy CPA and David M. Sullivan CPA have been named to the firm’s executive management team.

As managing partner Laurie Austin will take over the majority of the management responsibilities previously handled by DiCicco who has served as the firm’s managing partner since its founding in 1995. Burke’s role as COO will complement Austin as Austin assumes her new leadership role while continuing to service clients. DiCicco will continue to actively work with clients focus on the firm’s business strategy and develop future leaders.

Laurie J. Austin CPA now Managing Partner joined DGC in 2000 and was previously the Practice Group Leader in the firm's Private Clients Group. She also serves on the Firm's Executive Management Team. Austin has over 25 years of experience providing tax planning consulting services and tax compliance for high net worth individuals their families and their businesses as well as individuals with international tax needs.
Cheryl M. Burke existing XMT member joined DGC in 2006 and is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of DGC. Burke has over 20 years of experience in all areas of CPA firm Operations Management including Human Capital Information Technology Finance and Marketing.
Leonard N. DiCicco Jr. Co-founder of DGC and XMT member has over 35 years of experience in all areas of public accounting including assurance tax consulting mergers and acquisitions and litigation support. DiCicco has testified as an expert on a wide range of financial matters and disputes and his clients include businesses in the commercial real estate professional services manufacturing technology life sciences and private equity industries.
David M. Sullivan Jr. new XMT member joined DGC in 2005 and is a partner in the firm’s Business Assurance Group. He has over 25 years of experience focused on the financial advisory needs of closely held and family owned businesses equity investors legal counsel and financial institutions. Sullivan works with clients in the consumer products distribution manufacturing and professional services industries. He has particular expertise in providing merger and acquisition succession planning and business planning services to DGC clients. .
Donald J. Troy new XMT member joined DGC in 2005 and is a partner in the firm’s Business Assurance Group with over 25 years of experience providing audit tax and business advisory services to closely-held and family owned businesses. His industry expertise includes technology manufacturing distribution real estate life sciences and professional services. Troy’s experience includes service in the audit and tax departments of an international accounting firm and the tax department of a multinational Fortune 300 company.
