(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The British government announced on Wednesday temporary closure of its embassy in Yemen due to turbulent security.
Tobias Ellwood, the Foreign Office minister, said in a statement potential threats against British diplomats have recently increased due to the security deterioration in the country.
The British ambassador and all diplomats have left Yemen and are en route home, he said, also urging other Britons still present in the country to leave immediately.
