Investments in Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone hit USD5.18b


(MENAFN) Director Manager of the Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone said that USD5.18 billion were invested in the zone, Iran Daily reported.

So far, USD3.28 billion has been absorbed and an additional USD1.9 billion is being placed for equipment production and installation, Director Manager said.


Contracts for some of the projects are ready for signing, and "Proper infrastructures and strategic potential facilities have turned the Zone into one of the most important centers for investment," he noted.
