(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Cairo on Monday on a two-day visit for summit talks with his Egyptian counterpart Abdelfatah Al-Sisi.
Putin, received at the airport by Al-Sisi, is leading a senior delegation of ministers and senior government officials, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement.
Putin and Al-Sisi will witness a documentary at the Egyptian Opera about history of bilateral relations.
Official talks will be held tomorrow to be followed by signature of a number of cooperation agreements, it said.
The two leaders will then hold a news conference.
